Away Mission..T'Var vs Tentacles!

Aboard a crippled alien vessel, Captain Cooper, Lt.jg T'Var, and Lt. Degrelle battle a tentacled monster. My OCs by karolding.deviantart.com/ . The USS POTEMKIN came upon this strange ship while on patrol. Sensors didn't pick up any lifeforms or energy output but a breathable atmosphere was detected. Captain Cooper chose to lead a boarding party to investigate. He took security chief Lt. Degrelle and science officer Lt.jg T'Var with him.

After twenty minutes of searching the seemingly deserted ship, the away team prepared to descend into a lower level of the ship. T'Var began to climb down a ladder towards a hatch when that hatch slid open and an alien life form emerged and attacked. Long, slippery, tentacles reached out for her and the Vulcan climbed back up the ladder firing her phaser at the beast. Captain Cooper and Lt. Degrelle likewise fired their weapons at it as well, giving T'Var a chance to climb up and out of harms way.

The three officers battled the creature, finally driving it back into the murky depths of the ship. The captain had the trio beamed back aboard the POTEMKIN and had the alien vessel destroyed. Definitely a close call!
